Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Duration of training for Bachelors Degree

3 years for Registered Nurses with diploma in Nursing or Midwifery

2 years for Registered Nurses with Advanced Diploma in Emergency and Trauma Nursing
Entry Requirements

Grade 12 school certificate (or its equivalent) with 5 “O” levels at credit or better. This must include English language, Mathematics and a Science.

Valid practicing license

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
The Bachelors programmes are being offered in collaboration with the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University.
- Bachelor of Science in Critical Care Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Emergency and Trauma Nursing
The college utilises the University Teaching Hospital, First Level Hospitals and Urban Clinics services for students’ clinical training and health care.
The College is a GRZ institution and is funded through the Ministry of Health. The institution is regulated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ). The College is also supported materially and technically by a number of cooperating partners such as Birmingham City University (BCU-UK), Seed Global Health, University of Cape Town (UCT) and Global Aids Interfaith Alliance.
